GOM Player mendukung format file seperti AVI, DAT, MPEG, DivX, XviD, WMV, ASF dan banyak lagi. Pengguna tidak perlu repot menginstal codec secara terpisah. GOM Player mampu bermain tidak lengkap atau rusak file AVI dengan melewatkan frame yang rusak.
